The
area of specialization is Counseling/Clinical/School Psychology. This position is open until filled. Job Requirements & Essential Functions of the Job: The successful applicant will be prepared to teach a variety of courses within their area of specialization (i.e., Counseling Theories & Methods, Abnormal Psychology, etc.). The position will be .75 teaching and .25 Counseling Center service. Required Qualifications:
PhD in Psychology or master’s degree with more than two years of Counseling/Clinical experience. We are seeking candidates who possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues and who have demonstrated a commitment to creating, fostering and sustaining an inclusive environment in and out of the classroom. Qualifications: Special preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching such courses as Abnormal Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Counseling Theories and Methods, and Drugs and Behavior at the college level.
