Our Process Technology faculty bring years of experience in various fields within the process industry to train and prepare students for exciting careers within the process industry. Process industries include oil and gas production, chemical manufacturing, petroleum refining, mining and milling, power generation and utilities, waste and wastewater treatment, and seafood and other food
processing. As these industries expand and automate, the need for technicians with additional specialization increases; this position will help equip our students to meet those needs. To thrive in this position, you will use your demonstrated qualifications in one or more Process Technology Industries or fields such as: chemical, oil and gas, occupational health and safety, power generation, food processing, waste
water, or mineral processing operations. Your knowledge and skill in using computer-based training, safety training and computer simulation of industrial processes will be used daily. Your demonstrated experience working collaboratively with industry and community partners will be invaluable for student success and the program's continued growth. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with two (2) years process
technology experience OR any associate degree with extensive industry experience OR a combination of appropriate education and experience.-Minimum three years experience in Process Operations.
