Job Information The Florida International University (FIU) Center for Translational Science
(CTS) is seeking exceptional basic and translational science investigators to build a multi-investigator Stroke Translational Research Team based in Port St. Lucie, Florida. As such, FIU invites applications for full-time, tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Candidates for this position are expected to hold a PhD and/or an MD, with postdoctoral training in
a related field, preferably one related to aging, stroke and chronic inflammation. A strong record of impactful scientific discovery, a trajectory of extramural funding (R01-level or equivalent), and a research program that complements existing strengths within the stroke and vascular research teams are expected.Successful candidates will join a highly collaborative and interactive environment designed to accelerate
translational breakthroughs through shared core facilities, multi-PI laboratories, and cross-disciplinary engagement.
