We welcome applicants whose research addresses questions at the intersection of organizations and society, with particular interest in the following areas: organizational theory and design, sustainability and social impact, entrepreneurship and innovation, and the management of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Candidates whose work engages questions of purpose, responsibility, and human flourishing
in organizational life are especially encouraged to apply. The Leading People and Organizations (LPO) Area at the Gabelli School of Business invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning Fall 2027. The LPO Area is built around a conviction that management scholarship should advance human dignity and well-being — not merely organizational
efficiency. Our faculty study how individuals, teams, and organizations can be forces for good: through ethical leadership, trustworthy institutions, social innovation, and sustainable enterprise. The LPO Area is home to the Center for Humanistic Management and Fordham's sustainable business, management, and entrepreneurship programs, including the Fordham Foundry. Faculty engage with both scholarly communities and
the broader New York City business ecosystem across Fordham's Lincoln Center and Rose Hill campuses.
