The successful candidate would teach in
the accredited Social Work Program, which offers a comprehensive foundation of courses and field education opportunities for students to attain the CSWE competencies to prepare students for competent generalist social work practice upon graduation.QualificationsA Ph.D. in Social Work or a DSW along with an MSW from a CSWE Accredited Program and 2-years post MSW practice experience within at least one social work
field of practice, prior teaching experience in a CSWE accredited social work program, expertise in evidence-based social work practice, and evidence of ongoing scholarly work are required. The successful candidate is also expected to maintain a scholarly research agenda as well as make contributions to the culture of the University through service activities and culturally responsive pedagogy. The position also
requires working with other department faculty in developing programming activities and events, and with other social work program faculty in maintaining compliance with program accreditation standards. Additionally, holding a state social work practice license is required.
