Job Description The Stony Brook University School of Nursing invites applications for a 0.8–1.0 FTE academic year faculty appointment within our Graduate Program, with an additional opportunity to serve as Program Director of the Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PACNP) program. Program Director Opportunity The selected candidate will serve as Program Director for the Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PACNP) program, providing academic oversight for a program that prepares advanced practice nurses to deliver high-quality care to acutely ill and critically ill pediatric populations. The Program Director reports to the Department Chair, with
collaboration and consultation from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Dean. In this role, the Program Director will: Provide leadership for the PACNP curriculum and program outcomes Guide program evaluation and continuous improvement aligned with professional standards and accreditation expectations Ensure program quality and compliance with the School of Nursing Evaluation Plan and program benchmarks
