Typical Duties Teaching will occur in the entry-level doctor of physical therapy program within one or more of the four physical therapy practice patterns course
sequence: cardiovascular and pulmonary, integumentary, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program. Current Virginia Physical Therapy License. Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of professionalism, respect, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences,
or a commitment to do so as an adjunct faculty member at VCU. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of clinical experience in the desired physical therapy practice area. Teaching experience within a physical therapy program in the content area(s) of need. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
