We welcome candidates who can apply a range of techniques to study ocular structure and function in health and disease.

Candidates that deploy advanced approaches focusing on physiological optics (e.g., adaptive optics imaging, optical coherence tomography, scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, two-photon imaging, fluorescence lifetime or other ocular imaging modalities).   Alternatively, candidates may have strengths or research programs focused in advanced cellular and molecular biology, such as single-cell and spatial

transcriptomics, proteomics, lipidomics and connectomics as well as stem cell and organoid approaches for studying retinal physiology.   Research areas may involve humans, animal models and/or in vitro systems, as appropriate.
