The Chair of the Department of Pediatrics will advance the clinical, research, and educational enterprises for Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, with primary responsibility for the continued success, growth, and leadership of a dynamic team of 275 full-time faculty members. the sickest, most complex, and diverse patient populations in the country. This pediatrician and leader will also serve as the Physician-in-Chief for NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, the largest inpatient facility within the Children’s Hospital of New York (CHONY), which is one of the largest providers of children’s health services in the tri-state area.
