for Stem Cell Genomics at the University of Washington. The lab focuses on generating and utilizing pluripotent stem cell and primate models to dissect the cellular and molecular mechanisms of embryogenesis and investigate reproductive complications, including infertility and miscarriage. The candidate will carry out the research work under the supervision of Assistant Professor Min Yang within the Center for
Reproductive Sciences at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Insttitute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine. The successful applicant will have demonstrated a high degree of motivation, professionalism, experimental acumen, organizational skills, teamwork, and a thirst for knowledge and scientific progress. Experience with animal work is desired but not required. The job responsibility includes
designing, conducting, and evaluating experiments, contributing to the group through innovation and collaboration, presenting and publishing research findings, and participating in Departmental and extramural scholarly activities. Candidates with a strong track record of scientific excellence and outstanding communication and technical skills are preferred. Experimental/Lab duties include: Cell culture work –
organoid generation and 2D/3D cell culture Microscopy – immunofluorescence and confocal imaging Molecular bench work — basic molecular skills are required (molecular cloning, genome editing, etc.) Data analysis – basic skills in bioinformatics or genomic data analysis are required Contributing to laboratory organization and maintenance Presentations of data in lab meetings and external meetings Preparation of written
