The successful candidate will investigate the role of astrocytes—one of the most abundant and functionally diverse types of glial cells—in glioma progression and their modulation of the tumor microenvironment. The project will employ genetically engineered mouse and human glioma models, along with
advanced imaging techniques, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, and molecular biology approaches. The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to lead research projects from experimental design, data analysis, to presentations in lab meetings, conferences, and seminars, as well as prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications.
