Job Description CSN is seeking part-time Art instructors to teach courses within the Department of Fine Arts, Art Program. Teaching assignments may include a variety of courses such as Drawing, Painting, Design, Ceramics, and Digital

Imaging. Courses may be offered in various formats, including 8-16 week sessions, with class schedules ranging from 1-2 days per week and instruction provided at CSN campus locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Core Responsibilities Teach assigned Art courses for which the instructor is qualified. Deliver instruction through classroom and/or online teaching formats as assigned. Participate in regularly scheduled

instructional meetings and professional development activities. Complete and submit required instructional documentation and paperwork in a timely manner. Be available to teach morning, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend courses based on scheduling needs. Support student learning and engagement through effective instructional practices. Required Qualifications Master of Fine Arts degree in art or related field from a

regionally accredited college or university. Preferred Qualifications One year experience teaching preferred but not required. Salary $925.00 per lecture credit hour and $57.81 per lab/clinic (where applicable). Credits will vary by semester.
