with an anticipated start date of July 2027. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a twelve-month academic appointment (3-year term, renewable at the rank of Assistant Professor) beginning July 2027. The selected candidates will be proposed for
appointment to the full-time faculty at the University of Washington as an Assistant, Associate, or full Professor without tenure by reason of funding on the regular track (either Clinician-Teacher or Clinician-Scientist), with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027. Academic appointments at the University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. Assistant Professors
are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate or Full Professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The base salary range for
this position will be: Assistant Professor range: $27,917 - $33,334 per month ($335,004 - $400,008 annually), Associate Professor range: $33,334 - $41,667 per month ($400,008 - $500,004 annually), Professor range: $35,834 - $50,000 per month ($430,008 - $600,000 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is
inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations.
