Accounting - Open Rank Tenure Track faculty position, with a start date of Fall 2027. Rank depends on experience and qualifications. This position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting for students in a
residential program, with some online options. Faculty members are expected to maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status through a program of intellectual contributions in the form of peer-reviewed academic publications and presentations and other forms of professional development consistent with the school’s maintenance of AACSB Accreditation. Faculty will also mentor students and accept departmental, college, and
university service assignments. About the Accounting Department The Department of Accounting employs six full-time faculty members. The department offers a residential undergraduate major in accounting, as well as a Master’s degree in accountancy. At the undergraduate level, the department offers three separate degree tracks in accounting: General Accounting, Accounting Analytics, and Professional Accounting (an
undergraduate degree meeting the state CPA requirements). The department also partners with ACU-Dallas to deliver online courses in the undergraduate (BS in Management, BS in Marketing) and graduate (MBA and MS in Management) business programs.
