Department of Medicine, at the University of Washington invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor with an anticipated start date of January 2027. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34. We seek applicants who

demonstrate commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. This position will be on the Full-Time Clinical Faculty (FTCF) track. Faculty on the FTCF track hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1–June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of

service over a 12-month period (July–June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The base salary range for this position at the following ranks will be: Clinical Assistant Professor ($22,000–$24,250 per month), Clinical Associate Professor ($24,250–$29,250 per month), Clinical Professor ($29,250–$33,500 per month), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a

U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. These ranges are inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide

eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization. Other compensation associated with this position may include a clinical coverage overload (CCO), temporary pay supplement (TPS), or semi-annual additional compensation (SAAC), including additional compensation of $500 per night shift for any work as a member of the night attending (nocturnist) team.
