Position summary

The department invites applications for a full-time lecturer position to start in Fall 2026. Incumbent is expected to teach 4 courses on campus during each of the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Courses in need of coverage include Data Mining, Math for Data Science, Cyber Essentials, Database Programming, Bioinformatics, Operating Systems, and Cyberspace Ethics. Some of these courses are offered at the

undergraduate level, some at the graduate level, and some at both levels. All graduate courses and some undergraduate courses are offered in the evening and meet once a week. All classes are capped at thirty students.  Course Descriptions can be found in the  Undergraduate Bulletin  and the  Graduate Bulletin . There is no expectation of research, as this is primarily a teaching position.

Additional expectations include service to the program, department, and the School as assigned by the Department Chair.
