within the context of a vibrant and robust healthcare enterprise. Fully accredited and well regarded residency programs in radiation oncology and medical physics, as well as Masters and PhD programs in Medical Physics, are integral to the department’s mission and culture.Currently the department provides the entire range of radiation oncology services, including IMRT, Gamma Knife and body radiosurgery, high and low
dose-rate brachytherapy, TBI and total skin electron irradiation, etc. The Department has completed an aggressive building program to augment its state-of-the-art facilities and technology to include a dedicated brachytherapy suite with CT-on-rails, and Halcyon, the latest Varian technology.
