JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Mechanical Design department is seeking positive, dynamic, student-centered individuals to teach a diverse community of learners the desired skills for today’s workplace. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion, and the use of
the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Teach coursework in the Mechanical Design coursework. Duties include development of curriculum and participation in department and College activities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 8 years full-time related occupational experience or approved Journey-worker status OR Associate’s degree in career field and 4
years full-time related occupational experience OR Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years full-time related occupational experience required. Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH) May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.
