The Chinese Language Program (CLP) in the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Chinese Language to begin Fall 2026 . This is a renewable, multi-year appointment contingent upon successful review. The successful candidate will teach two to three Chinese language courses per semester at various proficiency levels, in
consultation with the CLP Director and department colleagues. Additional responsibilities include contributing to curriculum design, assessment, materials development, and placement testing, as well as assisting with the design and implementation of co-curricular events and faculty development activities.
