Psychiatry will serve as an Attending Psychiatrist in the Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Program. Responsibilities include direct patient care in the adult outpatient clinic, including diagnostic evaluations, follow-up care, telepsychiatry and teaching and supervision of medical students, residents and fellows. This position offers clinical opportunities to work with multiple advanced treatment modalities
such as pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, ketamine intra nasal or intra venous therapies (KINT or KIVT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapies, vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) therapies - to treat patients with treatment-resistant mood disorders as well as research opportunities with these novel treatment modalities. Research, teaching and clinical supervision of psychiatric residents and medical students and
other trainees are integral parts of this position, along with direct involvement in process improvement and program development.
