This list of duties is illustrative only and is not a comprehensive listing of all the functions and responsibilities performed.Position Summary:This is a full-time faculty appointment, 9/10-month contract. This position is responsible for serving as the on-campus didactic, lab, and off-site clinical

instructor/coordinator for nursing assisting students. Classes will meet face-to-face during the daytime, with possible evening courses in the fall and spring. Summer adjunct opportunities may also be available. The faculty member will oversee the supervision and education of nursing assisting students, guiding them in the application of classroom and on-campus lab skills in clinical settings. Responsibilities

include developing and revising curriculum to meet professional and educational standards, providing academic advising to nursing and nursing assisting students, and participating in faculty, departmental, and campus meetings. Additional duties may include serving on university committees, handling assignments as designated by the Director of Nursing Education and/or the Dean of Health Sciences, and addressing

concerns or complaints alongside students, faculty and staff. Faculty members are expected to be thoroughly familiar with the current catalog to assist students with accurate course scheduling and degree planning in collaboration with Student Affairs. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential, as is a genuine interest in teaching and advancing the quality of education.Duties and
