DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: Foothill College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to teach in the Media Studies program. The successful candidate will teach courses emphasizing media

analysis, history, theory, criticism, and cultural studies, as well as foundational media production courses that support the department's Film, Television, and Electronic Media degree and its transfer-focused mission. The program prepares students for transfer to California State University programs and for entry-level media-related fields. Secondary responsibilities may include providing faculty input on facilities

and equipment planning, including recommending purchases and assisting with inventory processes; participating in departmental budget planning in collaboration with division leadership; and contributing to grant-writing efforts and supporting the implementation of funded initiatives.
