Willingness to work within a flexible teaching
schedule and at varied sites including distance learning format if needed. Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with established syllabus. Ensure all courses adhere to the established syllabus and recommend necessary instructional materials and laboratory/facilities equipment for course effectiveness. Minimum Requirements:Minimum of an Associate's degree required. Must possess a current RN license, Registered EMT or Paramedic license, or be an experienced EKG technician with 3-5 years of experience directly in performing EKGs, including familiarity with various types of heart rhythms and conditions. Must have an active BLS certification. Previous instructional experience required. Applicant must submit current
resume and proof of certification/licensure.Preferred Requirements:Associates Degree or higher preferred. 5+ years working as a RN, Registered EMT or Paramedic ,or an experienced EKG technician with experience directly in performing EKGs, including familiarity with various types of heart rhythms and conditions, preferably in a hospital, cardiac, or physicians' office preferred. Two or more years of instructional
experience preferred. Certification/Licensure required. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and D2L, learning management system.
