University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Montgomery Regional Medical Campus is seeking applications for full-time and part-time annually-renewable, non-tenure earning assistant professor faculty positions. Successful candidates will have an M.D. or D.O. and be board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry. Primary duties include outpatient clinic and inpatient service at Baptist Medical Center South. Additionally,
the position involves formal teaching responsibilities for both the Montgomery Psychiatry Residency Program and for UAB School of Medicine third- and fourth-year medical students. Faculty cover approximately eight weekends per year and do not have in-house night call. While opportunities for research are available, research effort is not a requirement of the position. Salary will be commensurate with rank, experience
