Conducting research and writing reports for funding agencies. Publishing research in various outlets including
peer-reviewed journals and scholarly books, delivering presentations at top-tier conferences, and networking with others in the field. Traveling to other universities or academic settings to participate in learning opportunities. Participating in committee, departmental, and faculty meetings. Providing mentoring assistance to tenure-earning faculty and teaching assistants. Reviewing teaching materials and making
recommendations for improvement. Assisting with student recruitment, interviews, and academic counseling sessions. Qualifications An earned doctorate in social work or related field. Experience procuring large foundation, state, federal, and other grants. Proven track record of publishing in high-impact journals.
