The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate and graduate
courses in special education, and provide service to the university and educational community.Review of applications will start June 8, 2026 and will continue until the position is filled.Expected start date: August 15, 2026. Start date of January 2027 negotiable. Major Duties The essential duties of the position include a combination of teaching, assessment for continuous program improvement, advising, and service
to the profession, program, the university, and the community at-large. The faculty member will teach graduate and undergraduate courses in areas such as selecting and implementing evidence-based academic interventions and assessments and provide clinical supervision to special education teacher candidates. It is expected that the successful candidate will contribute to establishing regional, statewide, and national
visibility for the program, the department, and the university. Minimum Qualifications Earned Master’s degree in special education or closely related field from an accredited institution with a clear emphasis in learning disabilities or mild/mild-moderate disabilities.
