External Adjunct – Chemistry Position Description Job Summary: SUNY Sullivan is accepting applications for a part-time, adjunct faculty position to teach General Chemistry. The individual must possess the ability to teach seated lecture and laboratory sections of General Chemistry I and II. These courses are scheduled to be taught on campus. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a commitment to the
community college philosophy and a culture of belonging. Qualifications: Master's degree in chemistry or related sciences, Ph.D in chemistry or related sciences preferred At least three (3) years of teaching or equivalent experience Experience working in higher education environment preferred Duties and Responsibilities: Teach up to 14 contact hours of general chemistry courses, as well as potential additional
