We are seeking to fill two positions for the Early Connections Opportunity Program (ECO). The responsibilities of this appointment will be to prepare for and teach ECO Lecture in the summer from July 6-31, 2026. This position will involve course and program planning meetings, teaching the course, grading of course assignments, holding office hours, and advising. As necessary, the coordinator of ECO, in consultation
with the director of OMSA, will assign and change the distribution of duties. Responsibilities: Work with other ECO staff in assessing students’ needs, strengths, and weaknesses Offer instruction during designated class hours (approximately 11 class sessions) Offer 12-20 hours of tutoring Maintain and submit appropriate records of students’ performance including attendance, participation, and grades as well as
evaluative notes Confer with each student about his or her progress Refer students to support services, including Career Center, Learning Center, OMSA, etc., as appropriate Attend all staff meetings (one general staff meeting per week, one AS&T meeting per week) Participate in course planning and orientation sessions Participate in the planning of fall ECO programming
