General Internal Medicine within the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington invites applications for up to eight full-time clinical faculty positions at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to support the department's commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The
successful candidate will join our faculty on a twelve-month full-time basis for an annual term beginning July 1, 2027; specific start date is negotiable. Full-time clinical faculty hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1–June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period
(July–June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The successful candidate will be expected to serve as an attending physician in the Hospital Medicine Program at Harborview Medical Center, University of Washington Medical Center (Montlake and Northwest Campuses), or VA Puget Sound Health Care System.
