12-month, Non-Tenure Track Position Summary The Director of the Accelerated BSN (ABSN) Program provides strategic, academic, and operational leadership for a fast‑paced, high-quality prelicensure nursing program. As a Scholarship of Practice (SOP) faculty member, the Director integrates evidence-based teaching, practice, and innovative educational technologies while maintaining active engagement in teaching,

advising, and scholarship. The Director ensures program excellence, regulatory compliance, faculty coordination, and strong outcomes through collaborative, data‑informed leadership. The Director serves as a member of the Nursing Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Administration Lead planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement for the ABSN program. Ensure compliance

with Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, AACN Essentials, and CCNE accreditation standards. Oversee curriculum delivery, instructional technologies, and alignment across program levels. Collaborate with Level Coordinators, Lab Education Coordinator, and Lead Clinical Coordinator, and Director of the Center for Clinical Education and Research to support cohesive didactic, lab, and clinical experiences.

Coordinate course scheduling, faculty assignments, onboarding, and mentoring in partnership with department leadership. Prepare reports for accreditation and regulatory agencies. Support marketing, recruitment, admissions, and progression processes. Monitor student performance, retention, NCLEX readiness, and satisfaction, and address academic concerns.
