The University of New Mexico (UNM), School of Medicine (SOM) and Health Sciences Center (HSC) is seeking a full scope nurse-midwife that will contribute actively to the climate of diversity and inclusivity. We invite applications for an Open Rank, Lecturer Track position in Midwifery. UNM Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Midwifery Division has a busy clinical practice and is active in education. We are a large midwifery

group practice that provides full scope midwifery care within the UNM Health System. We are group of diverse and dedicated midwives who are passionate about patient care, advocacy, health system improvement, and education of the next generation of clinicians. This is a full time clinical position within an academic system which includes clinical teaching of a variety of learners. This is not a didactic teaching

position. Our role as faculty within the SOM provides many opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration & professional growth based on your interests.
