The SHC is a AAAHC accredited clinic within the Student Wellness Unit, which includes
the Student Counseling and Psychological Services, Care Center, Wellness Promotion, Disability Resource Center, Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, and Military and Veterans Services Center. This Behavioral Health Provider/Senior Behavioral Health Provider role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, integrated service model dedicated to serving a diverse student population. This is a
full-time, 12-month position. General responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to receiving warm hand-offs from medical providers, triaging students presenting with mental health concerns, conducting initial clinical assessments, administering brief evidence-based interventions, providing acute crisis assessments and interventions, when necessary, which may include voluntary and involuntary
hospitalizations, and providing treatment recommendations and referrals when indicated. The BHP also facilitates psychoeducational groups and workshops appropriate to the primary care setting to address student behavioral health needs identified within the SHC.
