Pediatric Urology to lead our nationally recognized team. This leadership role provides an outstanding opportunity to shape the future of pediatric urology through excellence in clinical care, research, education, and innovation. The Division Chief will oversee a dynamic team of 10 faculty members, 10 advanced practice providers (APPs), and supports and advises clinical and administrative teams, ensuring quality

standards and operational efficiencies are met. The department of Urology has highly sought educational programs that include an ACGME accredited Residency Program that graduates four residents per year, including two on the five-year (clinical) and two on the six-year (research) residency tracks, which rotate at Seattle Children’s Hospital and an ACGME accredited two year Fellowship in pediatric urology led by the

pediatric division. The position is a full-time without tenure (WOT) academic position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor commensurate with experience and qualifications with an anticipated start date as early as fall 2025. Associate and Full Professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of

service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. University of Washington faculty engage in clinical care, teaching, research, and service. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively to equally advance and support the clinical, research, and educational programs of a large diverse department and is expected to lead with excellence

in clinical practice, research, educating, mentoring, and working with faculty, administration, residents, and students from a wide range of disciplines, cultures, and academic backgrounds. This position will be expected to engage in strategic planning, mentorship, and development of clinician and non-clinician scientists, and will be expected to support the department's commitment to fostering an equitable
