Associate or Full Professor with Tenure Position Overview School / Campus / College: School of Medicine Organization: Global Health- SOM Title: Associate or Full Professor with Tenure Position Details Position Description The Department of Global Health at the University of Washington invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor with 50% Tenure, with an anticipated start date

of January 2, 2027. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a twelve-month appointment. Associate or Full Professor with 50% Tenure hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month

service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The base salary range for this position will be $12,000 - $23,000 per month ($144,000 - $276,000 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. The successful candidate will be

expected to lead the UW Consortium of Global Mental Health and conduct the following duties: Serve as a model and catalyst for Global Mental Health Scholarship at the UW. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong record of high-quality and high-impact scholarship in Global Mental Health, including the development of sustained independent funding from diverse sources. This scholarship may take the

form of innovative research, supporting the scale-up of clinical interventions or implementation strategies, informing mental health policy, and/ or global mental health advocacy. Develop a vision and provide leadership for building the UW Consortium of Global Mental Health at the UW. Leadership activities include developing a shared vision for the Consortium, facilitating collaborations and synergies among

affiliated faculty and partners in and outside of UW, and promoting the work of the UW Consortium to external partners, policymakers, and the public. Lead activities to secure funding for the UW Consortium of Global Mental Health. Funding activities will include leading or supporting institutional grants such as center or training grants, leading applications for foundation grants, close collaboration with UW
