Expectations for echo lab director: Develops strong communication, team management, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders. Develop a national reputation in both

clinical excellence and research in the field of non-invasive imaging. Develop expertise in research methods, maintain a successful research career, and mentor faculty and trainees in scholarly work. Ensures the accuracy, quality, and appropriateness of all echocardiographic procedures and images. This includes overseeing quality assurance programs for echocardiography. Lead initiatives to improve echocardiography

lab performance, implement new processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Develop strategic plans for the echocardiography lab in collaboration with the division of cardiology, heart center and hospital, including business development and marketing, while tracking market trends and growth opportunities. Supervise, mentor, and train a multidisciplinary team of physicians, sonographers, trainees and

administrative staff General expectations for non-invasive imaging: Engage in clinical activities in a wide range of non-invasive cardiac imaging modalities.
