Ensures the accuracy, quality, and appropriateness of all echocardiographic procedures and images. This includes overseeing quality assurance programs for echocardiography. lab performance, implement new processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Develop strategic plans for the echocardiography lab in collaboration with the division of cardiology, heart center and hospital, including business development and marketing, while tracking market trends and growth opportunities. Supervise, mentor, and train a multidisciplinary team of physicians, sonographers, trainees and
administrative staff General expectations for non-invasive imaging: Engage in clinical activities in a wide range of non-invasive cardiac imaging modalities. Perform and interpret imaging and physiologic data needed to understand underlying pre and postoperative simple and complex cardiac congenital pathologies in neonates, and children Serves as an attending physician in the Echocardiography Laboratory at Seattle
Children's Hospital. Timely completion of echocardiogram interpretation and reporting of results with appropriate communication to referring providers.
