population of one million children and adolescents. The Division of Pediatric Cardiology consists of 33 faculty members with depth in the full range of cardiac subspecialties, and three cardiac surgeons. The infrastructure includes a CTICU with 24/7 staffing by eight cardiac intensivists and 30 beds. Annual program volumes include approximately 400 cardiac surgeries, over 700 cardiac catheterizations, 20,000
echocardiograms, 15,000 outpatient visits, and 1,000 fetal cardiology visits.
