Primary duties will include modeling, supporting, and rewarding faculty excellence in teaching and research; assessing, revising, and innovating curricula; coordinating course scheduling; overseeing the
recruitment and hiring of new faculty; credentialing and evaluating faculty; managing the budget; and developing partnerships across the university and community. Duties also include providing support to students, supporting recruitment and retention initiatives, and representing the department in college and university-level strategic planning. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular
