Responsibilities Specific Responsibilities: The University of Rochester School of Nursing and Health Sciences seeks a strategic, student-centered academic leader to foster a culture of continuous learning that positively impacts and engages students in a safe, inclusive environment. Reporting directly to the Dean, the Associate Dean for Assessment and Educational Innovation will provide executive oversight of

experiential learning operations, academic innovation, and resource strategy to ensure the delivery of high-quality, future-focused education. The successful candidate will exercise broad decision-making authority, lead cross-functional collaboration, inclusion, and respect. The Associate Dean will partner with academic and administrative leadership to drive operational efficiency, lead resource and budget planning,

oversee assessment, institutional reporting, and accreditation processes, and ensure alignment with institutional priorities and accreditation standards. Professional Qualifications & Personal Attributes The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving skills. They must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands in a

dynamic academic environment. Flexibility, adaptability, and effective communication and collaboration are essential. The candidate should also be well-versed in education-related administrative and business processes, accreditation requirements, learning assessment practices, and educational technology Administrative ·          Provides executive oversight of and leads all

education technology resources to support curriculum delivery. ·          Leads cross-functional alignment with senior leadership, admissions, and student services leaders to ensure alignment of academic resources and student learning needs. ·
