183-Biology Position Summary: Villanova University’s Department of Biology invites applications for a Continuing Non-Tenure-Track ASSISTANT TEACHING PROFESSOR position, beginning August 2026. Our new colleague will contribute to the vibrant curriculum of the department primarily in two ways – teaching courses in Human Anatomy and Physiology for both biology majors and non-majors. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or

equivalent degree. Review of applications will begin 27 February 2026 and will continue until the position is filled. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties and Responsibilities: Our new colleague will teach undergraduate courses

that include Human Anatomy for Biology majors and Human Anatomy and Physiology for non-majors and will have the potential to develop and teach a course(s) in the Biology Department Curriculum in the future. Minimum Qualifications: M.S in Biology or related field. Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the University level Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biology or related field is preferred.
