track Assistant Teaching Professor beginning August 2026. We seek a dynamic educator to join our newly updated curriculum, which addresses the evolving landscape of emergency and disaster health. The Assistant Teaching Professor responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction across online, hybrid, and in-person formats, including clinical courses; leading clinical simulations and laboratory training;

developing innovative, evidence-based course materials and assessments; providing academic and professional mentorship to students, including capstone oversight; and engaging in departmental, college, and university service, including accreditation maintenance. Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in emergency health services, public health, disaster science, or a related field focused on pre-hospital

emergency health services, high-fidelity simulations, and paramedicine; current Paramedic (NRP) or higher EMS level certification in good standing; MICRB certification (or the ability to obtain it within five years); demonstrated success in university-level teaching; experience with high-fidelity clinical simulation and laboratory instruction; experience working with diverse student populations; and experience with

online and hands-on clinical skills teaching. Preferred qualifications include experience serving as a Clinical Coordinator for a CoAEMSP-accredited program, and expertise in disaster epidemiology, emergency management policy, or writing-intensive curriculum development.
