applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor WOT (without tenure due to funding), with an anticipated but flexible start date of October 1, 2026. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a twelve-month service period

(July 1 – June 30), with an initial appointment term of 3 years, renewable. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Faculty appointed WOT (without tenure due to funding) are in a non-tenure track because all or part of their annual University-administered salary is derived from

sources other than regularly appropriated state funds. Except for this distinction, WOT faculty members have the same rights, responsibilities, and obligations as tenure track and tenured faculty members at those ranks. COMPENSATION The base salary range for this position will be $8,000 - $10,830 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage

RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be expected to be an active participant in the teaching, research, and scholarship of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine’s Division of Physical Therapy and to contribute to the mission of the Department of

Rehabilitation Medicine. Instructional duties may include, but are not limited to, serving as instructor of record or assistant for foundational courses related to neuroscience and evidence-based practice and applied coursework related to neurologic and geriatric physical therapy.
