Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and UW Medicine Center for Behavioral Health and Learning is seeking candidates for six (6) faculty positions between .60-1.0 FTE at the rank of Assistant Professor without tenure for reasons of funding (WOT) in the Clinician Teacher pathway. We are anticipating these positions to start July 1, 2026. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that
align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Job Duties Provide clinical care at UW Medical Center-Northwest (UWMC-NW). Take call responsibilities commensurate with other clinically active faculty in the Department. Teach and
supervise trainees as appropriate and in conjunction with your clinical activities. 175 Days of Clinical Coverage per 1.0 FTE per year, structured as “7-on-7-off” Cover up to 15 patients per day with work hours of 7am to 7pm.
