Position description The Department of Chemistry in the University of California, Riverside invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level

with a research focus in Theoretical/Computational Chemistry. The new hire will further strengthen our physical and theoretical chemistry program and have the opportunity to collaborate with a vibrant network of researchers across the chemistry, physics, biology and engineering departments. All candidates must have a doctorate degree and will be expected to establish a nationally and internationally recognized

research program. Preference will be given to applicants whose research interests complement those of existing faculty and strengthen UCR’s strategic initiatives. Applicants should be strongly committed to both undergraduate and graduate teaching in both classroom and laboratory environments. Applicants are expected to provide individualized mentoring to PhD candidates/postdoctoral scholars and to contribute to
