The Baylor University History Department seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in the History of Medicine at the Assistant Professor level effective August 2027. Chronology and geography open. The successful candidate will hold a doctorate in history or a related field and be able to demonstrate a research and teaching agenda appropriate for an R1 institution, as well as a willingness to participate in

interdisciplinary collaboration and to seek external research funding.  Candidates who are outside the United States and do not have other nonimmigrant visa status will not be sponsored for an H-1B petition.
