We seek dynamic and

innovative candidates with strong research records who can build and sustain a nationally recognized, externally funded applied research program in Electrical Engineering. While applications over a wide range of specialties are encouraged, the successful candidate will enhance or strategically complement ongoing efforts within the Engineering department. We are particularly interested in the areas of power systems,

power electronics, electric motors and drives, power apparatus and protection, materials for energy applications, smart grids, renewable energy systems, and wireless power transfer. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level and contribute to developing new courses in their area of expertise. The department currently offers Electrical and Computer Engineering programs

and participates in college-wide interdisciplinary graduate programs. Successful candidates will have experience in and enthusiasm for teaching undergraduate courses and a desire to contribute to the growth of a strong Engineering Department. A completed Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field at the time of hiring is required. Candidates should

demonstrate evidence of strong research productivity, potential for external funding, commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and graduate mentoring, and enthusiasm for contributing to the growth of a vibrant and inclusive Engineering Department.
