within the Whitman School and among its community partners. We expect the selected individual for this hire to join the faculty for the 2027-28 academic year.The Supply Chain Management program at the Whitman School has an outstanding history of excellence. It was the first SCM program in the nation, created in 1919. The SCM program offers degree programs at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels, as well as
a standalone MS Supply Chain Management program in both residential and online formats. The SCM faculty are highly research active and publish regularly in leading journals. The SCM faculty also have high levels of visibility in professional organizations such as MSOM and INFORMS, as well as in the public press. Among other activities, the SCM faculty has, since 1949, hosted the annual Salzberg Memorial Lecture
