Assistant Professor position in New Media & Technology with a Sculpture Focus, beginning August 2026. The successful candidate will have an MFA with a focus in sculpture and a secondary focus in new media. They will also have a demonstrated competency in computer-based fabrication and an interest in developing projects for sculpture courses related to new technologies, such as AI. This position also requires the
ability to teach various sculpture topics such as 3D design, metal fabrication, and woodworking. An ability to teach our general education art course and upper-level interdisciplinary courses is a plus. An interest in curriculum development and innovation in teaching is required. Preference will be given to applicants with three years of college teaching experience beyond a graduate assistantship. Responsibilities: a
full teaching load which will consist of some combination of introductory to advanced sculpture courses, new media courses, and a general education humanities art foundations course taught to undergraduate Studio Art majors and non-majors.
