Courses may include sport sales, sport finance, sport facility and event management, sport marketing, and sport business courses applicable within the general education curriculum. · Contribute to student success and recruitment, engage in
the general education program, advise students and student clubs, and incorporate experiential learning into coursework. · Help the department explore graduate opportunities in the field. Qualifications · Terminal degree in sport management or a related field. PhD or EdD required (ABD considered). · Evidence of successful, innovative college-level teaching experience with the ability to utilize classroom technology.
· Demonstrate on-going commitment to each individual student’s needs for success. · Demonstrate the ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with colleagues to facilitate student experiential learning, research, and internship opportunities. · Willingness to participate in department activities, service to the college, and ability to work with faculty, staff, and students in a collegial and cooperative manner.
