The Programs in Physical Therapy at Columbia University invites applications for a full-time (12-month) faculty position. The successful candidate will primarily co-teach in the diagnostic imaging and therapeutic interventions threads and musculoskeletal courses addressing evidence-based physical therapy management of individuals with musculoskeletal dysfunction. Responsibilities of core faculty include teaching,
scholarship, service, and student advisement. Opportunities exist for clinical teaching or practice at the Columbia University Physical Therapy Faculty Practices (Columbia Doctors) and/or clinical (bedside) teaching with our DPT student at New York Presbyterian (CUIMC). The candidate will join a team of 18 core faculty, 10 clinical faculty, and numerous adjunct faculty from New York Presbyterian (CUIMC) and the
surrounding tri-state area who are experts in their fields and committed to excellence. The DPT Program is currently modifying it curriculum to transition to a framework that emphasizes competency based education and the master adaptive learner.
