The primary teaching responsibilities will be in the M.S. in School Psychology - Specialist program, recently approved
for NASP Candidacy Status. This is a 100%, 9-month, faculty position complete with both a competitive salary, DOE, and full employee benefits package, with an expected start date in August 2027. The Department of Psychology at UAA offers a BA/BS in Psychology, MS in Clinical Psychology (Clinical & Applied Behavior Analysis Tracks), MS in School Psychology - Specialist, and Ph.D. in Clinical-Community Psychology (APA
accredited) degrees. In addition, the Department offers a graduate certificate in Children’s Mental Health. The Department prepares students: (1) for advanced study in the social and health sciences, and (2) to become members of the behavioral health workforce. The department also maintains the Psychological Services Center, a clinic that provides low-cost mental health services to campus and community members and
serves as the on-campus training clinic for graduate programs. The department strives to offer degree and certificate programs that meet the needs of the state of Alaska.
